Tee off, cheer on, and welcome Rosie’s newest pups as we celebrate a fall full of fun and impact.rosie-pups-augustRosie’s R&R Litter Is Here..

We are delighted to share exciting news. Rosie has welcomed her newest litter of puppies, and it is an all-girl group.

Known as the R&R Litter in honor of their parents, Rosie and Rooster, these five daughters each carry a name with a special meaning of bravery, strength, or love. Rooster, the sire of the litter, comes from our trusted breeding partner, Johnson Farms.

  • Roselle – named in tribute to the heroic guide dog who led her blind handler to safety from the 78th floor of the World Trade Center during the 9/11 attacks.
  • Cora – Portuguese for “brave.”
  • Vali – Spanish for “brave.”
  • Koa – Hawaiian for “bold” and “fearless.”
  • Suki – Japanese for “loved one.”

This sisterhood represents strength, grace, and compassion, qualities that will guide them as they grow and prepare for their future purpose. Like every Project 2 Heal pup, Rosie’s daughters will spend their first months surrounded by love and training, preparing for the day they can change a life as service dogs.

We look forward to watching the R&R Litter grow and carry forward their legacy of courage and love.

Baseball, Dinosaurs, and Puppies

What could be better on a Sunday than baseball, dinosaurs, and puppies? On Sunday, September 7 at 1:05 PM, the Charlotte Knights will take on the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at Truist Field, and Project 2 Heal will be there to join the fun.

We have 50 tickets reserved in an exclusive section for our supporters, available for $25 each. A portion of every ticket purchased through our link will go directly toward fueling our mission to breed, raise, and place service dogs with the people who need them most.

This game is packed with family-friendly fun. Dinosaurs will be “roaming” the field, children can run the bases after the game, and some of our Project 2 Heal puppies in training will be on hand to say hello. Plus, you can catch the game with our very own ambassador, Billy, who will be joining the festivities.

It is the perfect chance to enjoy a day at the ballpark while making a meaningful difference.

Our Started 4 Service Pups Are Off To Their New Homes

Our newest crew of Started 4 Service pups have packed their bags and are off to their next big adventure.

  • Rowan is now living the good life with puppy raisers Paige and Davis W., along with his new fur brother, Aspen.
  • Mia is settling in with Georgia B. and her family, who are about to discover just how much joy (and puppy chaos) one little Labrador can bring.
  • Lobo is practicing his “distinguished gentleman” routine (with plenty of puppy zoomies) with Kelly P.
  • Lolly has moved in with Lauren H., who is quickly learning that life with a Lab means zero personal space and very few unclaimed snacks.
  • Nova is off with the Lackey family, determined to be the star of every family outing.

Our Puppy Raising Program gives volunteers the opportunity to raise a future service dog in their home, teaching them basic obedience, good manners, and how to navigate the world with confidence. These experiences are more than just fun—they directly prepare these pups for their future roles with K9s For Warriors, where they will serve veterans living with PTSD, TBI, or MST.
