Join us on **Saturday, May 16th at 6:30 PM** at **Olde Mecklenburg Brewery – The Bowl at Ballantyne** for one of our favorite nights of the year. Ticket sales will close on May 2nd, and over **75% of tickets have already been purchased**, which means things are getting very real, very fast. The pups are excited, the people are excited, and at this point we are basically just waiting for you to join the party. This night has become such a meaningful tradition for our community, a chance to come together, connect, and celebrate the impact that you help make possible. Expect familiar faces, new friends, plenty of puppy chaos, and behind the scenes updates that remind us all why we do what we do in the first place. Every ticket directly supports our mission to breed, raise, and donate service dogs, helping reduce the time and cost it takes for individuals to receive life changing support. Our newest litter has arrived, and these little champions are already stealing hearts. Meet Cypress’s Enchanted Spring litter as they step into one of the most fun stages of puppyhood. At around five weeks old, these puppies are no longer tiny newborns. They are officially in that in-between stage where everything starts to get a little louder, a little faster, and a lot more personality-driven. Wobbly play turns into real play. Sleepy piles turn into brief bursts of chaos. And every day brings something new. This litter includes nine beautiful puppies, each already starting to show small glimpses of who they are becoming. Introducing the girls: Melody, Belle, Ziggy, Bunny, Ellie, and Pip And the boys: Hopper, Peter, and Buck Right now, they are spending more time on their feet, testing out coordination, playing with littermates, and reacting to the world around them with growing curiosity. You can start to see confidence building in real time, even in the smallest moments. This is also where intentional development really starts to take shape. Behind the scenes, each puppy is being guided through early experiences that support confidence, stability, and emotional balance. These weeks matter deeply, even if they still feel playful on the surface. It is always one of the most exciting stages in our program because the shift is so visible. One day they are just puppies together, and the next you start catching little hints of independence, drive, and personality that will eventually guide their future roles. For now, it is equal parts structure and silliness, and we are soaking up every bit of it. Stay tuned as we continue sharing their milestones, personalities, and progress in the weeks ahead. While their story is still unfolding, an important step began just this month. Chance has officially started his **foundational strength and conditioning training**. This phase is a critical part of his development. It is where we begin building the physical strength, body awareness, and stability he will need to confidently and safely perform future tasks. These early sessions may look simple on the surface, but they are intentionally designed to support long term success. They lay the groundwork for everything that will eventually allow him to assist Joy in meaningful, practical ways. It is a reminder that service dogs are not created overnight. Each step matters. Each phase builds on the last. Behind every future placement is months, and often years, of thoughtful and purposeful work. That is what makes this campaign so special. Paws for a Child is not just about a single moment or announcement. It is about inviting our community into the full picture. The early beginnings, the steady progress, and the life changing impact that follows. And now, we are so excited to continue that story. Our **second Paws for a Child campaign** will officially launch this summer, introducing a new child and family to our community. While their story will be uniquely their own, it will begin the same way. With hope, preparation, and a puppy whose journey is just getting started. We will be sharing more soon, including the official announcement of this year’s recipient at **Pints 4 Pups**.
