Thank You For An Incredible 2025...
A year of wagging tails, big milestones, and even bigger hearts!
As we reflect on an incredible year, we want to say thank you to everyone who made it one to remember. Together, we raised $72,467, and none of it would have been possible without our amazing supporters, volunteers, and team.
You are the heart of Project 2 Heal. We truly couldn’t do this without you.
Cheers to 2025, and bring on 2026… we’re just getting started!
From all of us at Project 2 Heal, we wish you a warm and meaningful Thanksgiving.
Peter & Prince: A Graduation to Remember!
Peter and Prince’s graduation as our second locally placed veteran team, was more than a ceremony. It was a celebration of a bond built through trust, dedication, and a community that never stopped believing.
From the early days of their journey to this unforgettable moment, every step along the way was guided by people who chose to give, show up, and care.
Prince now steps forward as Peter’s Mobility Assistance Service Dog—ready to walk beside him through everyday life, offering support, confidence, and comfort. This team is a living reminder that healing does not happen alone. It happens when hearts come together with purpose.
Thank you to everyone who played a role in getting them here and to all who joined us in celebrating this incredible milestone.
Stevie’s Pups & Exciting Send-Offs!
Stevie welcomed a beautiful new litter, and we were thrilled to introduce Orion, Ginger, Grace, Grady, Tank, and Foster—born on 11/27.
These pups are at the very beginning of their journey to healing, and every day brings them closer to becoming future service dogs.
Foster has an especially meaningful start. She is sponsored by Chris N. and his family in honor of his Aunt Laura. Their generosity shows how one gift can shape an entire future.
Now 9 weeks old, some of these pups are already heading off to their next adventures.
Cue the proud tears and happy tail wags.
-
Grady is headed to Virginia with our friends at MK9 Service Dogs
-
Ginger & Grace are off to Pennsylvania with Paws and Affection
From tiny fluffballs to future life changers, we are so proud of these three. Go be amazing, sweet pups—we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.
Stay tuned to see where Orion, Tank, and Foster end up next!

Started 4 Service: Now in Final Training!
Lolly, Rowan, Lobo, and Mia are officially in their final phase of training with us!
These four Started 4 Service pups are preparing for their next chapter with K9s For Warriors in Florida, where they’ll continue advanced task training and ultimately be placed with veterans in need.
They are crushing their training—and that doesn’t happen by accident.
Each of these pups was supported by dedicated puppy raisers who poured time, patience, and love into building strong foundations.
It truly takes a village, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Upcoming Placements & Recent Graduates!
We’re excited to share several incredible milestones from our partner organizations!
Diana, Granite, and Bram have graduated from K9s For Warriors and were placed with veterans at no cost. All of these pups were raised through our Started 4 Service program and by our amazing puppy raisers, helping reduce training time and get life-changing support to veterans faster.
Linus has officially been matched through Fidos For Freedom. This is a huge milestone made possible by countless hours of dedication and care. Please join us in congratulating Linus and his new handler.
Rousey has been matched through Retrieving Independence as a psychiatric support skilled companion. Her calm, steady nature made her the perfect fit, and it was truly love at first match.
Each of these stories is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do—and why your support matters so much.
